Pick tables and a game

The games

Pick the answer: four choices, no timer by default, stars for a streak. Multiplication War: the classic card game against the computer. Flash cards: flip, answer and sort into "know it" and "again". Missing number: 7 × ? = 56, which builds the link to division.

Calm by design

Timers are off unless you switch them on, and even then a "gentle" timer never takes points away. Wrong answers show the right fact instead of a buzzer. We want kids to keep playing because they are getting better, not because a clock is chasing them.

For 3rd and 4th graders

3rd graders usually work on facts up to 10 × 10; 4th graders review them and move into multi-digit multiplication. Choose the tables that match what your child is learning in class, or start with one tricky table such as the 7s or 8s.
